Unfortunately no.But you can pick up and return your jeep in key largo, about 55 miles from miami international airport and 80 miles from the fort lauderdale airport.Our jeeps are waiting for you at the key largo chamber of commerce visitors center.The ride from mia to key largo is about 60 minutes, and the highways are quite congested. A large portion of which is under construction at this time. Driving in fort lauderdale/miami tends to be frustrating and can often start off a vacation on the wrong foot.Let uber do the heavy work. An uberx fare should run about $125. click for the uber estimator.In key largo, you can change out of your travel clothes and into your vacation clothes. don't forget to wear sunscreen! We suggest doors on when you have your luggage with you. You'll be more comfortable stopping along the way with your luggage secured. We will happily remove and store the jeep's doors at our marathon or key west locations when you get there. Allow 15-20 minutes for us to accomplish this task. The relaxed vibe and lower speed limits of the florida keys make road-tripping down here a genuine pleasure. If you need to go to alabama jack's on card sound road, it's just a 15-20 trip back toward florida city. Take the backroad behind the circle k toward ocean reef club. Turn left at the four corners stop sign. Alabama jack's is just past the toll bridge. Don't worry about the toll. we'll be happy to pay that one for you. Try the smoked wahoo sticks.Alternatively, you can rent a car one way from miami or fort lauderdale to key west. Expect to pay $300, including taxes, airport concession fees, and drop fees.

No problem. We can easily arrange to have you docusign our rental agreement and leave the rental vehicle at our lot for you to collect when your flight gets in.Make your reservation pickup time for a little before 5 pm. Then send an email to our office - info@keywestadventures.com and provide us with the details. Flight info, a pic of your dl and insurance id card, and your phone number. We will call you for your credit card info. We will email you a docusign rental agreement on or just before the day of your arrival. You will docusign the rental agreement, and we will receive a copy from docusign. Simply take an uber or a taxi to our office, where your rental will be waiting. You can take photos of the vehicle if you'd like before driving off our lot to protect yourself against existing damage, if any.

Our staff will let you know where to park an where to leave your vehicle's keys.We generally ask you to park at the key west airport in one of two places: The main long-term parking lot is just to the left as you enter the airport lower level. The short-term parking lot is on the right side as you begin to exit the airport property. You must not park our car in the rental return area. The big three rental agencies pay dearly for that space and will have our vehicle towed in an eye's blink. Once you have parked the vehicle, you can either call our store at (305) 293-3555, send an email to info@keywestadventures.com, or text to (708) 341-3903 to indicate the location of the vehicle's keys and that your vehicle is ready to be retrieved. We will send a staff member over for the vehicle.If you want, you can take pics of the vehicle before you walk away to protect yourself against any damage claims.We will head over as soon as possible to retrieve your vehicle.

We can arrange for you to pick up your rental along the way, deliver your rental to your rv park, and collect the rental from the rv park after you depart. We use docusign, email, and phone pictures to make the transaction as easy as possible for both parties. After-hours pickup and pre-arrival deliveries are no problem. Just be sure you tell us the correct spot (or lot) number! There is no room for a pull-through in key west. We will arrange to deliver and recover your rental vehicle on the rv property or bring you to our lot in the case of rv parks within a short distance from our lot. Begin by staying calm. don't attempt to force the top up or down. Jeep wrangler tops can be broken with enough force, and the tops are expensive to replace. Save yourself money by operating the top on island time. Lowering is a three-step process. Once the windows are removed Release the front latches and fold the forward part back to the area in which the driver's seat is open to the sun. This is called the sunrider position now go to the back. Reach your arm up and to the left of the rear tire. A lever can be found inside the convertible top. Pull the lever, and the top should slide right down. Lock the soft top into place using two locking mechanisms at each large gearbox (angled roll bar is the official term) located on the left and right of the jeep's frame. You can actually see a lock and unlock diagram on each gearbox. Raising the jeep is the process described above, in reverse Unlock both sides at the angled roll bars Slide the top up until the glide clicks back into place and the top is in the sunrider position Fold the top closed and close the latches above the sun visors. You can drop off your doors at our main store (3424 n. roosevelt blvd) or our marathon location (9981 overseas highway).You can rent our jeeps and put the top down in sunny weather wherever you roam within the Florida keys. outside the keys, our jeeps are required to have doors on.Not sure how to work the tops? - ask youtube. you can find dozens of short videos on how to work the top.Our jeeps can get a little wet, but they can’t get soaked. please put the tops up and cover the jeeps and slingshots with the provided cover when parking overnight.It is reasonable to expect you will take care of our jeeps as well or better than you take care of your own vehicle. Don't let a careless mistake follow you home.Doors can be off in the florida keys only, meaning no further north than mile marker 108 in key largo. If it appears inclement weather is imminent, we will either switch you into a jeep with doors on or install the doors on your jeep, which generally takes about 15 minutes. just make sure you swing by during business hours!

25 and older licensed drivers are required. We will consider a younger renter provided that renter has a full coverage policy with his or her name on the policy and a credit card, not a debit card. An underage fee will apply.For slingshots, 21 years old is the minimum age required to rent, with no underage fee.

Reservations are always best, especially for length-of-stay rentals during the high season. Key west is known to run out of rental cars during peak times. peak rental times are normally november - april and june - august. Reservations can be made online or by calling into our office.We have added the fareharbor reservation system to our website. We understand weather plays a big part in your decision. You can safely book a reservation today, and if you need to move the date around, no problem. Rebooking is as easy as pie with fareharbor.

Ee our “last flight out” option. extend your rental on the last day for a small fee.We will be glad to hold your bags at our office while you’re out enjoying your last day in paradise.When it’s time to head to the airport or ferry dock, we will get you there. We still close on 5 weekdays and earlier on weekends, so be sure to discuss the return drop/off plan with us on departure day. We will make any reasonable accommodation.

If you have scheduled us to collect you from your hotel or rentals and waive off at the last minute, then it is reasonable for us to be paid one day's rental.Otherwise, there is no cancellation fee.However, we do ask that you call and inform us of any changes to your jeep rental.We understand you may want to adjust your vacation schedule with changes in the weather. We will do everything in our power to make sure our jeeps fit your schedule.

Credit cards are preferred, and we reserve the right to decline any debit card. To use a debit card, you have to have enough funds to permit us to place at least $500 security deposit above and beyond the rental estimate. We are not responsible for the length of time your bank puts the money back into your account upon the safe return of the rental.

You may pay with cash upon return of your jeep. We do, however require deposits to be taken from the debit or credit card of the primary renter upon check-out.Delays in processing refunds to your credit/debit card are a function of the banking/merchant processing system. Out of our control.

All of the jeeps in our fleet are for sale. We generally hold a vehicle 12 months or more before we are in a position to sell.We also have a selection of used vehicles available.We are the authorized gem dealer for the florida keys. All of our rental vehicles have automatic transmissions.Our polaris slingshots are available with manual and autodrive. Autodrive is an automatic clutch system that operates similarly to fully automatic, except the driver needs to let off the gas a little as the engine winds up to change gears.

There is no place in the florida keys for off-roading. We feel us1, america’s most scenic highway, is best seen from inside a jeep, slingshot, or a convertible. If you have the hankering to go off-roading, we recommend meridian charters or one of the major charter boats companies. We’re an island. off-road is water.

Please refuel the rental vehicle before returning.Minis, slingshots, and wagoneers require premium-grade gas. 97 octane minimum.We know time can slip away from you here in paradise.If you don’t refuel, just let us know. We’ll top it off for you, and add a refueling charge of $12 for each 1/8 tank to your credit card.

Your insurance is the primary coverage, our insurance is secondary. Please check with your personal insurance company with questions regarding your rental car coverage. Foreign residents may be required to purchase a damage waiver.Polaris provides damage waivers for the slingshots. We will explain the charges and coverages when you take delivery of the rental slingshot.

Those aren’t our taxes, they are the government’s taxes.There is a 7.5% sales tax and a $2.00/day solid waste fee associated to every rental contract. We also charge a $2.00 per day vehicle registration recovery fee.If we pick you up at the airport, we are obligated to collect an airport concession fee in the amount of 11.11% of the total rental charges, except sales tax. We are required to collect sales tax on the airport concession, solid waste disposal, and vehicle registration recovery fees.

Most of our jeeps are equipped with gps and bluetooth, though we do not guarantee these features. Car play is a common feature on most of our vehicles. these features are issued on a first come basis and subject to availability. Feel free to ask about them when choosing your jeep.All of our jeeps accept aux cords. We have aux cords at the counter for you to use if you need one.Almost every vehicle we rent has the sirius xm radio activated at no additional charge to you. Be sure to check the vehicle before you leave the lot. Some vehicles do not have the option to add satellite radio. Also, we are just far enough south of the satellites that signals can be lost, and a refresh will be necessary.To run a refresh, enter the radio id, found on channel zero (0) into the siriusxm refresh website.You can also text refresh to 776-17 from your cell phone. You will receive a refresh link in reply.If the result is "no subscription" message, or something similar, please call (305) 293-3555 or email info@keywestadventures with the name of the renter. We will likely need the radio id so turn to station zero and snap a pic. Include that with the email or have it ready when you call. We will get the radio turned on asap, but it may take us up to 24 hours.Confused?- here's a short youtube video that shows how to get a link sent to your phone and perform a signal refresh.

First 300 miles are free, afterward the mileage rate is 40 cents per mile. If you keep your rental vehicle in the florida keys, you’ll be alright.

There are no tolls within the florida keys other than the card sound bridge toll near alabama jacks. However, if traveling past homestead, you will be required to have a florida sunpass or may be subject to a $50 toll administration fee. Reminder, you need doors, a sunpass toll device, and our written permission to travel further north than mm 108.We have sunpasses available at our front counter for rent.

For your convenience, we provide a raincover with every jeep and slingshot. The jeep or slingshot can get a little wet but should not get soaked. We ask that if rain is imminent that you use the cover. If it looks like rain in the forecast for a day or two, stop, and we will put a top and doors on or switch you to a covered jeep. When the rain moves out, stop back in, and we will switch you back to convertible.

We are open monday through friday, 8-5, and saturdays 8-3. During high season we are open sundays 9-12.After-hours pickup and return can be arranged. We use docusign to prepare the rental agreement and leave the vehicles in a well-lit, secure area for you to pick up after hours.After hours drop off is available for your convenience. After hours free rides back to your hotel are generally not available.

There are a variety of parking lots, garages and street parking downtown. Simonton and whitehead streets provide much of the parking for crowded duval street. Street parking is marked by parking meters and the appropriate sign (blue and white with a big “p”). Please ask your rental assistant for a map and directions to parking lots and garages upon checkout.Here is a our interactive downtown parking map. The majority of the parking meters are now app based, using the plate number of the vehicle as the identifier. Input the appropriate number of hours for your parking. The parking apps allow you to add time right from your phone with out having to return to the parking space.Street parking uses the same “zone” (generally 33050) which allows to you to move your vehicle to another street parking location without having to purchase a new ticket, provided you still have time available.The apps make it easy to add time to your parking while you are away from the vehicle. Please be aware of road markings that would designate a no parking zone; yellow marked curbs, red marked curbs, in front of fire hydrants, or anywhere else not designated as a parking zone. Keep in mind that parking in front of or blocking a driveway is not acceptable.In the downtown area many spaces are marked resident. Parking here requires a special sticker, which our cars are not allowed to have. You can be certain that parking in a resident space will result in a complaint to the parking police. The offending vehicle will be ticketed and likely towed.
